The National Park Service has a terrific Trail User Guide (TUG) for the Mississippi National River and Recreation Area (MNRRA). Trails on both sides of the river within MNRRA are highlighted. The TUG was used by MRT staff, NPS, and MNDOT to identify and ground-truth the MRT route through the Twin Cities area. It is available in print and on the NPS MNRRA website at www.nps.gov/miss/planyourvisit/tug.htm. The TUG will be available in print covering the 72-mile MNRRA corridor soon!
