MRT MISSION

The mission for Mississippi River Trail, Inc. is to be a catalyst for the promotion and development of the Mississippi River Trail in the ten states from the headwaters to the Gulf. The Mississippi River Trail is an interconnected system of trails to serve residents and visitors of Mississippi River communities and promotes conservation, recreation, tourism, and public health benefits of parks, trails, and natural areas on the Mississippi River.
